Shepherd Fencing installs and repairs vinyl, aluminum, wood, and chainlink fences across Manheim Township, from Neffsville to Landis Valley. Free estimates, no pressure.
Manheim Township is the county's second-largest municipality after the City of Lancaster. Its southern edge meets the city limits, and it includes the communities of Neffsville, Dillerville, and Landis Valley.
Landmarks include the Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum and the Overlook Community Campus between Fruitville Pike and Lititz Pike. Depending on the street, a township address can read Lancaster, Lititz, or Leola.
Manheim Township and Manheim Borough are separate municipalities in different parts of the county. This page is about the township.
Fence permits here go through Manheim Township, not the City of Lancaster or Manheim Borough, even when your mailing address says Lancaster or Lititz. We confirm the rules for your lot. We can pull the permit for you, or you can pull it yourself.
If your neighborhood has a homeowners association, send us its fence guidelines. We'll quote a height, style, and color that fit them. HOA approval usually comes before the permit.
Utilities get marked through PA One Call (811) before we set a single post. For details, see our guides to fence permits in Lancaster County and Pennsylvania pool fence rules.
What works best depends on your lot and what the fence is for. Here's where most Manheim Township conversations start. Compare all fence styles, or read our fence cost guide.
Low-maintenance privacy for backyards, pets, and kids.

We can pull the permit with your local municipality for you, or you can pull it yourself if you prefer.
