We install materials from reputable, name-brand manufacturers — not bargain-bin product. Every manufacturer we work with offers a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials, and we pass that warranty through to you, the homeowner, in full. This applies across our full lineup — vinyl, aluminum, wood, and chainlink.
At the completion of your install, you'll receive:
Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects in the materials themselves — cracking, warping, peeling, color failure beyond normal weathering, and similar issues. Specific terms vary by manufacturer and material.
Shepherd Fencing stands behind our workmanship with a 2-Year Workmanship Warranty covering defects in installation.

Workmanship Warranty · All Materials
Structural integrity — free from defects in workmanship that compromise structural integrity, including proper setting of posts, alignment of fence panels, and secure attachment of all components.
Installation quality — all components installed according to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines, including correct spacing, leveling, and fastening.
Our 2-Year Workmanship Warranty is transferable to a new property owner. The new owner must contact Shepherd Fencing within 30 days of property transfer to maintain validity. That's not in most contractors' warranties — we believe in standing behind the install, not just the customer.
Beyond workmanship, our fences are built to withstand typical environmental conditions and minor accidental impacts. For 1 year from installation, we guarantee the structural integrity of your fence against everyday accidents.

Accidental Impact Protection
Structural damage from accidental impacts, including:
Repair — we restore the structural integrity of the damaged section. Replacement — if damage is beyond repair, we replace affected components. Prorated refund — based on remaining guarantee period if repair or replacement isn't feasible.
The Impact Guarantee applies only to the original purchaser. It is non-transferable.
We believe in being upfront about what's covered and what isn't. The following situations are not covered under our warranties:
Formal warranties are important — but they're not the whole story. The way we run Shepherd Fencing is built on faith, family, and craftsmanship. If something's off after we leave — even outside the formal warranty window — pick up the phone or send an email.
We can't promise free fixes for every situation. But we can promise an honest conversation and a fair path forward. We'd rather work it out face-to-face than hide behind small print.
